Third Week in a row, we have released the show on Friday. Remember, that our goal is by Saturday Afternoon. However, I’m always happy to get it out to you earlier whenever possible.

Off Season Review of Season One & Two
After the season finale of this season of Lost, we would like to continue on podcasting a weekly Lost Edition of Generally Speaking. The idea is that we would put together a viewing schedule for our listeners and we would view and discuss two episodes a week during the summer hiatus. Rem went missing this week (he’s actually on holiday) but we sent Erik Fisher to the island in search of him. While running from my father-in-law, I mean Mr. Friendly, Erik found Rem locked in another hatch. I think they will both be back next week.

This week, we played the audio recap of the Matthew Fox appearances on Regis & Kelly and The Daily Show. We’ve got some great feedback on this and I will try to catch theh Lost Cast whenver I can and bring those to the show. I’m just hoping I don’t get sued by someone.

Hey, yet another early arrival of the Generally Speaking Podcast. Boy I hope I don’t get you guys spoiled by me getting these out a day early. I’m sure it won’t be possible all the time. However, since this one is ready now, Enjoy!

I feel the audio quality of this show is improved over last week. At the very beginning our mics are a bit over modulated, however this is corrected half way through the show! They are brand new and we are still getting used to them. Thanks for the donations to help us get the gear we are needing!

Would you be willing to help out the Generally Speaking Podcast?

There has been a concerted team effort to give our podcast a bad reveiew in the Itunes Music Store. Just to give you an idea of what I am talking about, if you were to do a search for “Lost Podcast” in Itunes, you would see our podcast and THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD READ!

I will admit that I allowed the initial excitment of doing this podcast to go to my head and we started off talking a lot about how popular we were going to become. The funny part was that we were totally kidding and we never thought anyone other than ourselves would listen. When we went from 700 and then to 2000 and now over 4000 listeners, we were simply “giddy” and excited that so many folks would download and listen to our show.

If you listen to this week’s show and last week’s, you will notice that, just like Lost, we have stopped focusing on the “Numbers.” I have also been praying about my “ego” trip that I was on. It was not a very good “Christian” witness to say the least.

The only way to fix our “image” in Itunes is for folks who are “registered” with itunes to leaave us a POSTIVE review. You need to have a credit card registered with a user name and password to do this.

I think anyone, even unregistered users can do this… You can also help by clicking the button “See all ___ reivews” and choosing yes where it says “Was this reveiw helpful” by the postive reviews and choosing no next to the bad reviews. We actually placed this week’s episode up a day early! This week’s episode was regarding Lost Season 2, Episode 13 titled “The Long Con.” While it was not “introduced” very well, we did do a trial run of a new segment called the “Under Five Minute Audio Recap.” We also tried using some musical transitions for the first time in our show. After only 9 weeks, our show is really beginning to take shape as we are starting to develop regular segments in our show. I know it was a bit clunky this week, but it will only get better as time goes on. I really appreciate all of our listeners who have stuck through this with us as we are learning how to put together a decent podcast.

Some Folks on the Fuselage seem to think that Cassidy looked a whole lot like Desmond’s lady friend in his photo! We were pretty harsh when we talked about how there seems to be no similarity other than they are both smiling and they both have their head tilted. Here I am pasting a copy of the screencap they use on the fuselage along with the screen caps we used to support our theory that Desmond’s lady friend is actually the lady who tried to adopt Claire’s baby.
