The Jack Lillie Insurance Agency has been a continuous insurance agency since 1929 . G. F. Swedes formed the agency with the Travelers Insurance Company. In 1965, Mr. Swedes retired and the agency was taken over by Parker J. Lillie and became known as the Parker J. Lillie Insurance Agency.

Parker Lillie, a WWII veteran and a Major in the USMC, built the agency by adding additional insurance companies and product lines. In 1988, Parker J. Lillie retired and his son, Jack Lillie, whom had been an active member of the agency, purchased the agency and moved it to its present location in Hebron, Kentucky.
